A few years ago I was invited to make a list of the Bible verses which meant something to me, which inspired and motivated me. Below is the list I created. It is a good exercise in defining yourself and your goals.

So God created humankind in God’s image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them.
I am created in God’s image. I am blessed by God.

Deuteronomy 6: 4-5

The Jewish “Shema”—call to love the One True God.

Jesus reiterates the call to love God and expands it to include loving self & neighbor.

And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love.
Paul defines love.
Matthew 5: 44-45
But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be children of your Father in heaven;
Jesus calls us to forgiveness and peacemaking. Calls for a new world order.
Matthew 7:7-8
‘Ask, and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches, finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
God will provide all my needs.
Acts 2: 17
“In the last days it will be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Ministry is not limited to men. God pours out the Spirit on me!
Hebrews 4: 15
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who in every respect has been tested as we are, yet without sin.
Jesus understands! He is therefore approachable and forgiving.
